I decided to tell my story more in pictures so hopefully you can see them all!!
This 1st picture is of argentine trashcans... or baskets haha. They are shaped like people for fun!
There are also some of my favorite English attempts signs.
There is also a picture of a asequia (ditch)..very dangerous
Funny language story. The other day Hna cerrato looked cold so I asked here ¿Quere gusanos por sus manos? well I meant to say guantes... I actually asked her if she wanted worms for her hands instead of gloves, oops(thanks a lot dad!!). Her look of horror was great though! I also get the words for hair and horse mixed up all the time so you could see how that could be a problem!
This is the largest pear in the whole world and they are everywhere! The fruit here is great!!
Next is a funny note that we found in the area binder. It basically says that the investigator was more interested in the elders than the gospel and that if you are an elder you should stop by haha ;)
The keys here are super weird!! It took me forever to figure out how to use them.
The familia Gomez is doing well. They were unable to come to church this Sunday, which was sad, but they are progressing! They are trying to live the word of wisdom, which is super hard because the mom smokes and all of them (even the 3 year old girl) are addicted to tea. But they are working on it. The 8-year-old girl is awesome. She said that she wants to be a missionary too! Hermana Ceratto put her tag on her and she looked so happy. They are reading the scriptures and praying as a family.
Hector told us that his family is catholic and that he didn’t want to make such a big change so late in his life ;( But I felt prompted to give him a copy of the book of Mormon anyway so hopefully he will read it and recognize its truth. Today is his 80th birthday so we are going to make a card and stop by so we´ll see how that goes...
Here are the 4 sisters in our ward at a member´s house for lunch.
Here is another one of my favorite Spanglish signs!
Hermana Cerrato and I at zone conference, And Hermana Dutra (the brazilian) and her comp. and finally a picture of the sisters in our pench.
Finally, a picture of our food at a member´s house. He used to be a pastry maker and wow he can cook!!
