Felices Pascuas!! Happy Easter!!
Easter was great! We spent the day watching the conference in the stake center with all of the other members and missionaries. I was in the gringo room with basically just elders, hermana Zollinger and I and a few other people who speak English. It was fun and Hna Ashby and the Hunts made all the missionaries lunch and Easter bunnies. It was a nice day and a great conference!
I love the conference so much!! The talks are so powerful and it is always incredible to me that they talk about what I need to hear. I just love how all of the apostles are so in tune to the spirit and what is going on in the world. I loved the talk by Wilford W. Anderson where he compared the gospel to music. We can teach people how to dance the dance of the gospel but they have to hear the music for themselves and truly have their own conversion and testimony. This directly applies to what I am doing as a missionary. I can teach the people and help them to feel the spirit but it is their responsibility to use their agency to accept the message and gain their own testimony of the truthfulness of the gospel.
I also loved the talk by elder Holland about how the Lord saves us from eternal death. The spirit was so strong during that talk. It was one of the most powerful talks that I have ever heard!
Well we have some exciting news...Alicia is getting baptized this week!! After about a year of missionaries patiently working with her, Alicia will finally be baptized this week. I have seen a great change in her and I am so excited to see how the gospel will further bless her life. She will grow and progress so much more with the help of the gift of the Holy Ghost after her baptism. She is ready and is super excited to take this great step in her life. I feel honored to have played a small part in helping her make this grand choice!
Fotos!!
Us celebrating Easter!! Hna ashby and hna hunt made the Easter bunnies and a hermano in our ward gave us the chocolate eggs!
My poor minion boyfriend underwent some surgery. He kinda got dropped on the floor haha but he will get better after some professional help. In one of the pictures you can see the remaining evidence of my fun fall from the bus haha
Well I love you all sooooo very much!! I know that our Savior suffered, died and now lives because He loves us more than we can imagine! Have a great week and always remember the never ending extent of the Savior´s love!!
Con mucho amor,
Sarah
