These past two weeks have been a little crazy with Christmas and new years and all of that but it has been a very rewarding time.
The most exciting news to tell is about the Manzano family! In my last letter I mentioned a reference that we contacted from the elders in Chimbas and that we had a nice first lesson with them. Well we have been working a lot with them and they have gone to church 2 Sundays, and have accepted a baptism date for the 23 of enero!! They are so prepared! I can hardly believe their great progress in such short time! They went to the church 2 times and the second time they brought their libro de mormon and during the classes they were looking up the reference to the scriptures without any help, and they were both participating a lot in the classes and paying close attention to every detail. The 2 children (Agostina (9años) and Nacho (8 años) enjoyed the primary and Nacho said that he wants to get baptized, and he was so excited when we told him that he has just the right age to get baptized. Fernando is unemployed and many of the members have offered to help him find work and the stake is focusing a lot on autosuficiencia and they are offering the course mi camino this Saturday and they were able to enroll Fernando in the class. It´s crazy how everything is working out! We will be working super hard with them these next few week so that they will all be able to baptized together on the 23rd! Please pray hard for them because they are super awesome!!
