More flowers because it is too beautiful here!! I realized the other day that I basically only send pictures of flowers and food home haha.
Here is a picture of Hermana Alicia Ochoa and I in her house. She is a recent convert of just over a year, and she is such a kind loving person.
This sign is on the main door to our apartment building. The people here take their siesta very seriously!! It´s annoying for us because we can’t proselyte and on pday we cant go shopping.
So the weather on Friday was CRAZY!! There was a viento sonda which means that a strong and hot wind blew in from Chili. Because Mendoza province is a desert, the wind brought a ton of dirt. It was basically a dust storm. So earlier in the day the sky was perfectly blue without a cloud in the sky. Well you can see in the picture the crazy big dust cloud that blew through the city!! Luckily we were in the pension. We had to stay inside for an extra 2 hours that day because the wind was dangerous. There is a picture of a tree that fell down around the corner from our apartment.
Happy Argentine mother´s day!! Sunday was mother´s day here (because it´s springtime here). Here are some pictures of a card we received from the primary in the ward (super cute) and a card we the hermana missionaras made for the sisters in the ward.
Here are some pictures of our new pension! It´s pretty sweet!!
Love,
Hermana Sarah Malstrom
P.S. I forgot to mention that Elder Christofferson is coming to our mission!!!!!!! The whole mission is going to have a special reunion on the 8th of November to listen to him speak!! This is such a great opportunity to hear an apostle and to be together as a whole mission!!
