I hope your week was significantly better than mine
Let´s start with the negatives and move into the positives...
So my week started off with Monday when I forgot my camera in the cyber. Well, after frantically running literally 10 blocks we found out that someone had taken it. So I now have my emergency camera which is a blessing to have but it´s kinda a bummer to lose all of my pictures and videos from 7 months =(
Next on Tuesday I put my skirt on inside out and only noticed when we were already on the bus...hehe oops
Next on Friday I fell out of a bus. Don’t worry I´m fine! It was my fault and I only have a scraped up elbow, bruised leg and broken pride (because the bus was jam packed of teens going home from school haha). But the positive of this experience is that I will never be embarrassed by anything ever again because I have passed through it all haha
And lastly, last night and today I have been feeling very sick. I think I have a fever and I am super weak. It took all my energy to walk to cyber to write to y´all. (so sorry if this email is kinda slow and emotionless)
Positives:
We went bowling Monday which was super fun and it was good to get out of our area for a while!
We had our zone conference! (very dysfunctional picture)
We talked about how we need to be bolder and straightforward when we teach things like the law of chastity, etc. We talked about the importance of teaching entire families and focusing in on the head of the household. We also learned about a new program that the church is doing for Easter that is like "he is the gift" from Christmas. I think it´s called "Because he lives" in English. But that is exciting. I love conferences with pres and hermana Goates. It is incredible that they talk about just what we need to hear! Next week we have interviews with pres goates which should be great!
Last but not least...Rosa, Alicia, Ago and Maria Angelica all came to church again this sunday! And the elders had an investigator come too!! Alicia told us Thursday that she was feeling sick and that she needed the blessings of coming to church! She said that she loved the church and wants to come as much as she can! Rosa came on her own! She said that the night before she prayed to God that if it is His will let her wake up on time and make it to church. Well she got there just in time for the gospel principles class and the sacrament meeting. She felt the spirit strongly in the gospel principles class as we talked about the atonement. It was yet again a crazy but worth it Sunday!
So that about sums up my week. Sorry if it had a rather negative tone but I am really doing ok. Once I get rid of this dumb bug inside of me I will be as good as new and ready to work 100%.
I love you all sooo very much and I hope you are all doing well!!
Con mucho amor,
Sarah
