First is the longest hotdog in the world!! super pancho!
Happy 21st birthday hna Dote:) The night of her birthday we had a FHE with Hno Julian (the food person) and we did a lesson with balloons. We wrote a few of our spiritual and temporal goals on paper and put them in the balloons. Hermana Cerrato and I then went around and popped all the balloons. Hna Dote was the only one that guarded her balloon and didn’t let us pop it. The lesson was about how the world will try and destroy our goals and we have to protect them and work hard to keep them alive.
Next the sky was super weird but beautiful the other day.
Activity!!
The airplane (we were the flight attendants and our zone leaders were the pilots. We said all the safety instructions with hand motions and everything (I said them all in English) We made the chapel seem like an airplane! We had a video on the big screen at the front of the chapel of an airplane taking off. It actually worked really well!)
Next came Hawaii!! Face paint, trivia, videos of the church, food, casino (board games), sports with the elders, making card (service project), and music. It was super fun! Everyone participated. It was funny seeing grown men doing face paint and making cards with glitter haha. There is a picture of me with our ward mission leader hno Bustos (with the thumbs up) with marta (the 20 year old primary president who is the only active member of her family and is preparing for a mission and is awesome), Hnas Ortiz who is a crazy goof but is awesome (with the eyebrows) and with our investigators Mary and Julietta.
After all the activities, we went back to the airplane and then we crashed and we all died! Depending on what they did in Hawaii determined the kingdom of glory. Hermana Cerrato and I were in charge of the celestial kingdom. It was so peaceful with the bishop, and his family all dressed in white to show that we can be with our families forever. The spirit was so strong. It was great and I believe that everyone was greatly impacted by this part of the activity. It was a lot of work, but it was all worth it!
