This week was a lot of walking, finding and not much teaching. But we have now found some great people so that we can begin teaching them!
This week we went to explore a different barrio in our area that is super far away from the centro. It was fun and we found some awesome people that have a lot of potential there. We also discovered a bus that goes out there, which is a great help. We will be going there more often!
Transfers!! I am leaving my home of San Rafael and I will be heading to San Juan Centro, which is in the province of San Juan (kinda like a different state), which is 2.5 hours north of Mendoza city (so I will have a trip of about 7 hours in collectivo!) San Juan is very famous in the mission for 3 things 1. HOT summers 2.a funny accent and 3. It is the "promised land” They call it the "promised land" because the members are super helpful there and it´s easier to baptize there because the people are more friendly and open to change. In San Juan they have a weird accent in which the say their r like a sh. For example perro is pesho or restauración is shestoushación and barrio is barshio, etc.
My new comp is Hna Avalos from Buenos Aires (I think)! Maybe I will end up speaking with her accent haha "me shama" haha She just left her training so I will be her 2nd comp. I’m excited and a little nervous for the change. I am ready to work a fúl!! =) I will greatly miss Hna Harris because I love her a lot but we will be able to hang out in Utah after the mission because she is going to UVU =)
I am sad but excited for a change and I will let you all know how it goes next week!!
Love you all lots!!
