This week was interesting.........
So we started the week off awesome finding 2 new awesome investigators on Monday and Tuesday! They are Carmen and Alejandra. Carmen is a former investigator that we found while cleaning out our list of former investigators, and she seems like she really wants to learn and understand. We found Alejandra while we were looking for her neighbor. While we were ringing the doorbell of the other family, she was entering her house and told us that they weren’t home. We talked to her for a minute and she invited us in her house to talk more. She is passing through many trials in her life and truly needs the gospel now in her life. She was our grand miracle for the week!
The rest of the week was a little more difficult. We ended up dropping or being dropped by 5 different investigators this week and we are thinking about dropping 2 more. =( It´s hard but in reality this was an answer to our prayers because now we can focus our energy on new investigator that are willing to progress and complete compromisos. So we ended up have some longer days this week of a lot of walking and searching for new people to teach with little results. But these weeks happen and next week we will start to see the fruits of our labors!
So you might be wondering why this post is called repentense...well one day this week we were knocking doors in la Prida, an apartment complex in our area. Everything was going great until we tried one door and a woman answered. It was all normal for a second as we introduced ourselves as missionaries and everything when all of a sudden this women yelled at us to get on our knees and repent! When she saw our blank stares she told us to go home, kneel down and repent and that we would learn the error in our ways. She then entered the house and slammed the door. And then heard her say to someone in they house "Son testigos de Jeovah." Grrr those Jehovah witnesses are always making life difficult for us!! But that was the joke all week. We would just randomly yell out "get on your knees and repent!" to one another. It made for a great joke haha
Funny enough I also gave a talk this week in sacrament meeting (in Spanish might I add) on repentance! We got a call Saturday night and the bishop told me that the sister with the talk couldn’t come to church Sunday and was wondering if I could give the talk. So I called the ward to repentance!! haha... but really... repentense!!!! haha

Not too many this week...but a bug that was on our window last night and a minion that plays music that I bought with my christmas money! So thanks!!
Well I hope you all have a wonderful week and dont freeze too much! ;)
