This week was a pretty normal week, nothing too exciting happened except for a young adult activity and transfers!!!!
Saturday we helped out with an activity of the young single adults: MTC for a day. It was a very well put together activity and it was a great experience for the youth! In the morning we had classes about the different foundations of Preach my Gospel. Each class was taught by returned missionaries and were great. Each was 30 minutes long and we learned how to teach and help investigators to understand, feel the spirit and make and keep commitments. Then in the afternoon we went out and did street contacting with the youth. I was very impressed with the bravery and the testimonies of the youth. It was great to see their excitement as they talked with people in the street about the gospel, the love of God and His plan and how it has impacted their lives. At the end of the activity, Hna Diaz and I received about 45 references for our area!! We will be working hard the next few days to contact them all. It was a great activity and it was fun to help out. It was a great reminder for me of the things that I should be doing in every lesson and in every contact.
Fotos:
all of the youth and missionaries at the activity and more of our goofy zone. (pay attention to some of the names on the back of the shirts! hehe)
For hna Ashby's last Sunday in Argentina we took a ward picture( only about half of the ward is in the picture).
Pre transfer call movie night!! (so they called us at about 11:45 and we couldn’t really sleep before, so we made some popcorn and watched the testaments to pass the time) I am being transfered back to San Rafael!! I am going back to the same ward, just the other area! I am also going to be a sister training leader (kinda like a zone leader for the sisters but with a little bit less responsibility haha)
and a very heartfelt note from the office elders to hna ashby haha
